HP TECHNOLOGY CENTER – IMBILI CARRETERA

Through the CEA Foundation, in partnership with HP Colombia and the Alto Mira y Frontera Youth Foundation, we have established a space for learning, connection, and socioeconomic empowerment for seven communities and young people from Imbilí, leveraging technology and training in socio-emotional and technical skills.

ACTIVITIES

  • Psychosocial workshops

  • Vocational guidance workshops

  • Computer skills courses

  • Robotics courses

  • Traditional cooking courses

  • Communication workshops

  • Pre-university preparation program

OPORTUNITIES

  • The Center served as an enabler, providing young people with the opportunity to enroll in higher education:

    • 10 students enrolled at Antonio José Camacho University Institution

    • 1 student enrolled at the National University of Colombia – Bogotá campus

    • ​Fields of study: Industrial Engineering, Social Work, Public Accounting, Business Administration, among others.

IMPACT

  • 240 women, girls, and boys benefited from activities at the Technology Center

  • 7 rural communities from the Alto Mira y Frontera Community Council

  • 70 young people engaged in life planning and career development processes

  • More than 150 people benefited from donations to the center:

    • Stationery

    • Clothing

    • Toys

    • Books
