Return to Agriculture Phase 1 and 2
Agricultural and cultural training program for boys and girls in rural areas of Tumaco
A Vocational Education Program in Agriculture was launched for 80 students in its first phase and 120 in its second phase at the Imbilí Carretera Educational Institution, as well as for other children from the Alto Mira y Frontera Community Council. The program aimed to preserve ancestral knowledge, foster a love for cacao and its cultivation, and develop entrepreneurial skills and life plans through hands-on training and psychosocial support. The second phase of the program also emphasized strengthening cultural identity and roots to promote the collective memory of the region.
