About Us
Since 2007, we have specialized in facilitating collaboration between international cooperation actors and the private sector. We generate partnerships that create positive impact in territories and vulnerable social sectors through the implementation of projects.
History

The CEA Foundation – Hands for Change was established in 2007 to support the philanthropic initiatives of CEA-affiliated companies. During its first decade, the Foundation focused its efforts on social investments, primarily in the areas of education and health.
In late 2016, following a strategic process driven by affiliated companies and led by Accenture, the Foundation redefined its direction and began to specialize in fostering collaboration between international cooperation actors and the private sector. This shift enabled the consolidation of high-impact partnerships and projects, contributing more effectively to the development of territories across Colombia.
As a result, the Foundation has positioned itself as a catalyst for private investment, advancing four key lines of action: diversity and inclusion, health, environment, and employment and entrepreneurship.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of 10 volunteers from affiliated companies and the Foundation’s strategic partners.
Our board members dedicate their time and expertise to strengthening the organization, developing higher-impact social investment projects, and helping build a better Colombia through partnerships.
